| They have the same mentality that Edmonton does, apparently to them now goal scoring will be the thing to save them. I think everyone forgot that they had superstar defencemen in Edmonton in the 80s. I guess Paul Coffey, Jim Wiemer and Steve Smith didn't really help. |

Unless the defenceman is putting up Bourque or Coffey numbers nobody cares. Speaking of which I keep hearing everyone praise Dougie Hamilton (a Bruins d-man prospect) and too be honest I'm sick of them hyping up to be the next Raymond Bourque. | Karlsson will definitely be a high scoring offensive defenceman, if he wants to hit his full potential he is going to need to be on a team with a strong defence core like St. Louis, Philly, or Boston. |
